- The main goal of the Hoka association is to provide free access to Education and Instruction for the children, nuns and monks that live in the poorest and most remote places of Ladakh/Zanskar in the Himalayan Ranges all thanks to the help provided by sponsors in France
- Sponsoring a child costs 250 euros per year (0.70 euros/day). This amount provides the child with everything he needs for his Education. On top of this amount there is the membership fee of 20 euros
The president of the association makes a yearly trip to Ladakh and Zanskhar to ensure the funds are handed to the children and used properly. During this time, she takes photos, gathers letters from the children and brings them back to France to send out to their sponsors. In 2019 thanks to the actions of the association, 222 children are sponsored in several schools, a nunnerie and two monasteries.
